Yamato Neuromancer #003: Yoko Littner

Hello everyone! It has been super cold here, and with the cold comes sickness. Being sick sucks, made me miss last Friday. Why am I so bummed about that, last Friday was the three year anniversary of this blog. Man, three years, time sure does fly. Well, what better way to celebrate three years than to look at a figure from Yamato. The first review I've done here was the VF-11D from Macross Plus. Today we are taking a look at another figure from Yamato. (In retrospect it should have been the GN-U DOU from Macross Plus.) The Yamato Neuromancer #003: Yoko Littner. From what I can tell, there are two other figures in the Neuromancer line, but that is about all I know. These figures are pretty high quality and have a price to match. Pushing 200 to 300 USD. In addition to the high price point, these figures aren't easy to find. I came across mine at a con, thankfully the vendor was willing to give it to me a discount. #03 FRAULEIN REVOLTECH Gurren Lagann Otoko Do-ahou! Yoko Littner Sailor Ver.

Hey everybody! It is that time again! Lets get started! Today, I'm actually bringing you an exclusive figure! Something that I normally don't get a hold of quite to often. Today I have the Fraulein Revoltech, Gurren Lagann Otoko Do-ahou! Yoko Littner Sailor Ver. I ordered this from the good people at Hobby Link Japan. As well upon checking to see if this figure is still in stock, well it is listed as discontinued. Either way lets kick off the review. Right off the bat one major difference between this figure and other Yoko Littner Fraulein Revoltech figures is that, this one comes in a school girl sailor uniform, rather than the standard bikini outfit she wears in the anime. The school girl uniform comes from the spin off manga Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Gurren Gakuen-hen, which is a parallel setting that takes place in a school time setting, rather than the setting of the anime. Nendoroid Spice and Wolf Holo

Hello! This week is a very special week! Why is it so special? Well, this week a pre-order came in. Not just any ordinary pre-order tho. Now if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, or just read the title of the post, then you know what I’m talking about. The Spice and Wolf Holo Nendoroid from Good Smile Company. Now if you are like me, you have been waiting forever for a Holo figure. Basically, since the anime came out back in 2008. If you aren’t familiar with Spice and Wolf, allow me to fill you in. Spice and Wolf is a light novel turned anime. It follows the story of Lawrence a traveling merchant and his companion Holo, the goddess of the harvest. Together they travel around the land. A simple story, but worth the watch and read. I should one day really get cracking down on reading the novels. Anyways, let’s get on with the review! And before I go on, please excuse the quality of this review. It isn't on par with my other reviews, at least in my opinion.
