Nendoroid Darkness

Hello everyone, boy it feels like it has been a lifetime since I've made an actual post. So, after months of waiting for the pre-order, I finally got it. Nendoroid Darkness from the anime Konosuba.

So this will be a quick review, I've just been busy getting ready for Ikkicon at the end of the year and trying to knock out a few customs before the weather doesn't allow it. So let's get going.

Box

Here is everything she comes with.

1: Nendororid
1: alternate torso
1: longsword
1: short sword
2: alternate arms
1: holding hand
2: alternate faceplates
1: 0 0 cabbage
1: >< cabbage
1: Nendoroid stand
2: cabbage stand

Here is the figure out of the box.

Darkness is an asymmetrical figure, due to her shoulder armor. On the left side is a feathered shoulder pad.

While on the right side is a more traditional shoulder pad.

The details on this figure are pretty good, the hair goes from blond into a highlighted color.

The detail on the armor is spot on.

We even get to see some colors I never thought of.

Normally nendoroids are limited in articulation, but Darkness offers not just the standard, but a ball joint in the ponytail and ELBOW ARTICULATION!

On a minor note, her legs are somewhat articulated.

We get different faces, such as the standard face.

An embarrassed face,

And a happy blushing face.

Another major accessory that this figure comes with is an alternate torso.
Note: the instructions say to remove the extra ball joint.

This torso is of a battle-worn Darkness, which depicts a scene from season one of Konosuba, which is strange considering this figure is from season two.

To complete the scene, we need the flying cabbage.
Sadly it cannot stand on its own.
Which is why we have these two additional stands.

The stands are articulated.
To finish off the scene, here are some pics of the scene recreated.

The last major thing she comes with are two swords.
Note: They are sharp!

The swords can pull off some nice posing, and with that elbow, it makes it even better.

Other poses include.

So, in summary, this is a great little figure. I love it so much and was looking forward to it for so long. The only downside is that the shoulder armor is a bit lose, but nothing that can't be fixed. The articulation and detail are amazing, Darkness may be my favorite Nendoroid now.

Sorry, this was a short and kind of rushed review, but just been busy, next review should be back to normal.
